2nd AGM &
Annual Alumni Meet - 2007

The second Annual Meet has been arranged on 16th December 2007 in the auditorium of JNTU, Masab Tank; started in the afternoon at 1:00 PM and went up to 9:00 PM.

A cultural program by Devnar School for the blind with their Orchestra and mimicry by its students received applause of all the participants. It was a surprise that they gave a dance program too. The program was sponsored by Sri GS Rama Rao, Secretary of Alumni Association. On the spot, the participants donated collectively Rs. 9,500/- to Devnar School.

Sri Varaprasada Reddy K, Padmabhushan Awardee, MD, Shantha Biotechnics Pvt Ltd., has been felicitated. He belongs to 1970 batch. Though he studied Electronics & Communication Engineering, he had successful career and as an entrepreneur he has set moral standards by supplying essential drugs and vaccines at much cheaper rates globally. He is equally good in literature and music. He mesmerised the participants with his talk.

Swami Maithreya (Popular through Jeevan Maithri Program in Samskruthi Channel) gave excellent message on how to be happy and what makes us unhappy. It is not philosophy but how to adopt ourselves to the environment and be happy.

Smt. Geetha Ganesan of Uttara Center for Performing Arts presented a program of her disciples on Dasavatharam which thrilled the participants. The dinner designed with health consciousness was appreciated by senior alumni for the special care.
