Earlier:
Worked for Neyveli Lignite Corp and Assam Technical Education Dept for short periods, before joining in Heavy Enginnering Corp in 1963. He migrated to USA in 1970.
Family:
He has two children. Both are Medical Graduates from Guntur and settled in USA.
In specific as Alumnus:
He was known to his classmates as Butchayya and one of the earliest migrants to USA in 1970. He returned to India in 2004.
